About the Conference
You are invited to attend an interdisciplinary and international conference on equity in access(ability) and access(ability) in equity in Mauritius. This conference will interest a global network of academics, researchers, health and social care professionals, educators, and graduate students in many fields of study. We believe equity and access(ability) includes but is not limited to encompassing language, culture, socio-economic status, (mental) health, and many other significant topics.
The conference will explore ways to advance equitable practices in (higher) education and to expand our engagement with access(ability) from an equitable perspective.
Our Vision
We hope to create spaces where imaginative and insightful interdisciplinary and cross-cultural dialogues can occur, and where participants can learn with and from one another. More importantly, we strive to facilitate meaningful connections that cultivate relationships within and between different academic and professional disciplines.
What to Expect
The conference will include professional development sessions, research presentations, panel discussions, and many additional networking opportunities. Conference participants will have the chance to explore various topics ranging from (mental) health and wellness, leadership, curriculum development and assessment, integrating technology into professional practices, and professional writing workshops.
